Job Description
Medical Assistant
Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician and/or Designee.
Interview patients and measure vital signs and other pertinent information. Record information in patient’s medical record. Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination. Assist clinicians with care of the patient. Administer treatments and perform routine laboratory tests.

Front desk duty, schedule appointments, perform clinical tasks and complete appropriate forms as required by department. Responsible for administering medications, including injections. May be responsible for cleaning, checking instruments. Perform computer data entry functions. Use clinical/technical skills specific to the patient. Perform other related duties as necessary.
Practice customer service standards as defined by Clinic Klinic.
Take anticipated proactive steps to meet the customer’s needs, by listening and taking responsibility within scope to ensure issues are resolved. Facilitate the customer’s ability to utilize resources for optimal outcome. Assure a clean, orderly, and functional work environment. Commitment as an effective team member who is flexible, cooperative, and willing to assist others.
Manage difficult or conflict situations constructively and seeks appropriate assistance. Take accountability for own actions. Act as a resource and mentor to new employees, students, and other team members. Actively participates in professional development activities. Adhere to Attendance Policy. Support a collaborative labor-management partnership environment.
Job Requirement
High School Diploma/GED.
Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of Georgia.
License, Certification, Registration
Basic Life Support
Additional Requirements:
Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information.
Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to use personal computer.
Medical Terminology Certificate or equivalent experience.
